GUEST RANCH in BC National Geographic Traveller
| Welcome to Canada's oldest guest ranch! The Flying U Ranch is situated on the north shore of Green Lake, British Columbia. The Flying U has attracted guests from all over the world and from all walks of life. The Flying U, a "Working Cattle Ranch", offers an authentic ranch holiday complete with horseback riding, fishing, hiking, canoeing and hayrides. Guests are assigned a horse and tack suited to their riding ability. We invite you to enjoy unsupervised riding over 100’s of miles of trails winding through aspen groves, pasture and lakes. There is simply nothing like it. Learn to square dance, stop in for a drink at the Longhorn Saloon, shop at the General Store, dance to live music each Saturday night, attend a movie in our Black Horse Theater or gather around the fire in the main Lodge. Your hosts will throw another log on the fire...the horses are saddled and the grasslands beckon. Take your place in history at the Flying U Ranch. |
